Youth development
Youth is the driving force of positive changes and transformations in society and the state, a locomotive that continuously moves forward.
We cannot do for the youth, but we can provide all the necessary conditions and opportunities for their effective and successful activities.
Our goal is to promote the development of self-sufficient youth who act responsibly for the sake of their future and the future of Ukraine.
In our projects, we include young people in public life for its development and overcoming various social challenges.
The goal of the "Volunteer+" project is the development of the volunteer movement in Svitlovodsk.
As part of the project, it is planned to create an own volunteer program and form a team of 30 volunteers. As part of the project, they will be able to undergo specialized training and implement their own initiatives aimed at developing the potential of young people.
22 participants with different volunteer experience, including both students and founders of charitable foundations, have already listened to the relevant training. Some participants came to Svitlovodsk already after the start of the full-scale war and have a desire to contribute to the development of the community.
Our previous projects
Project "Needed here: youth"
The goal of the project is to activate the youth and to reveal their potential in the community of Svitlovodsk. We want to expand the community of the organization, as well as provide an opportunity to learn new skills necessary for effective operations.
In order to better understand the state and needs of volunteering in Svitlovodsk, we conducted a social survey.
As part of the project, together with new members of the community, we held 4 offline events that will help activate the youth of the community. A total of 47 participants were registered.
Among the activities: training on the development of soft skills, career guidance, video shooting and editing.
It is also planned to release 5 episodes of a podcast about opportunities for young people in Svitlovodsk, which you can find on our website.
The initiative is being implemented with the support of the NGO "Tenth of April" as part of a project with UNHCR Ukraine — the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine.
