The problem that brought us to UPSHIFT: low level of media literacy and basic understanding of cybersecurity among young people.

The solution found at UPSHIFT: the team developed its own educational online course “Cyber ​​Warrior”, which develops vigilance and helps protect against real dangers lurking in the virtual dimension. To create the course, the team involved representatives of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Technologies of the Odessa Law Academy.

“Cyber ​​Warrior” consists of two parts — theoretical and practical. For example, the course explains what the algorithm of actions should be in case of suspicious calls or how to make your own passwords more secure.

To gain skills in the field of cybersecurity, the course was taken mainly by parents who do not know how to use the Internet competently.

Currently, the team is exploring the possibilities of the project to take it to a new level and make it more sustainable.
