The problem they came to UPSHIFT with: the unpopularity of studying robotics among the city's youth.
The solution they found at UPSHIFT:
the team developed a series of training sessions not only for college students, but also for teachers.
The project helped involve the community's youth in studying robotics and using modern technologies for self-development. The team sought to teach young people to use technology not only for entertainment, but also to create innovative solutions and improve their lives. The tasks included introducing teachers to the Arduino platform and involving young people in creating and programming robots.
During the project, the Upshifters introduced robotics to 57 teachers. They will be the ones who will introduce the possibilities of robotics and introduce it to other students in the future. In total, the team held 18 "Robotics is Easy" meetings. As a result, 7 robotic systems were created.
Thanks to the project, the educational modules in the study of computer science and technology were changed, so all first-year college students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with robotics in their classes and create their own project.
The team plans to continue creating projects. Upshifters are open to cooperation and are ready to introduce robotics to everyone who is interested.
