Problem with which they came to UPSHIFT: lack of awareness among local residents about the need to provide assistance and protect homeless animals

Solution found at UPSHIFT: The team developed an information campaign about the need and methods of supporting animals, getting to know and disseminating information about the activities of local animal protection organizations. The goal of these events was to encourage locals to take care of preventing an increase in the number of animals on the streets.

In particular, the team helped find new families for 4 dogs and 1 cat, and also provided them with boxes with assistance.

During the implementation, the Upshifters developed a network of partners for their own project - the NGO "Animal Life", the NGO "Polish House Foundation", local shelters and the ZSO were involved in cooperation. The project created a community of caring volunteers from among the youth of the Odessa region, who continue to work actively.
