The problem that brought us to UPSHIFT: the exaggerated role of social networks in the lives of young people.

The solution found at UPSHIFT: the team created its own space on the basis of Odessa Lyceum No. 8, in order to develop a culture of live communication among teenagers. Here, trainings on career guidance, master classes on sewing toys, painting on fabric, recycling plastic, and others were held.

Upshifters held events together with the Employment Center, the My Precious Plastic workshop, and craftsmen of various crafts. Such cooperation not only saturated the events with interesting things, but also helped the project become more popular.

The space continues to function after the completion of the implementation, meeting and warmly welcoming new youth. The team supports and actively works on the development of the project, and is also happy to share its own experience and ideas with like-minded people.
