The problem that brought them to UPSHIFT: low level of socialization of adolescents
The solution found at UPSHIFT: the upshifters created a space for socializing teenagers “Viva La Vida” in the shelter of their own lyceum. The participants held many different events here: film screenings, art therapy, yoga classes, trainings, master classes — and much more!
The team established cooperation with the Mykolaiv regional organization “Democratic Union of Hungarians of Ukraine” and the Mykolaiv Union of Hungarians named after St. Laszlo, with whom they agreed on monthly supplies of humanitarian aid.
The team received baby food and hygiene products for children from the above-mentioned organizations. More than 40 people, who are representatives of large families, have already been able to receive assistance.
In addition, the team closely cooperates with the management of the lyceum where they study. At meetings of the head teacher and the elders, they talk about the events that they organize within the framework of UPSHIFT. Thanks to this, students actively participate in all team activities held in their youth space "Viva la Vida".
