The problem that brought us to UPSHIFT: insufficient number of activities for the psycho-emotional relief of Nikolaev youth and the development of their communication skills.

The solution found at UPSHIFT: the team created the "Live2Grow" youth space on the basis of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. Psychological support was provided here, and entertainment and educational events were organized for the socio-emotional support of young people. The space hosted weekly film clubs, board game evenings, creative workshops, lectures, and trainings. In particular, the upshifters collaborated and conducted a psychological seminar together with the coordinator of the All-Ukrainian health program "How are you?" in the Mykolaiv region, Ruslana Omelyanchuk, and held an event with the international organization Norwegian People's Aid Ukraine. NPA became interested in the project and held a mine safety event with the "Live2Grow" team. As a result, the space united the youth community around itself and became a support platform for upshifters from other Mykolaiv teams.

Now, despite the suspension of the project, the team actively supports other youth initiatives and is open to cooperation.
